Eric Hansotia was named Chairman, President & CEO for AGCO Corporation in January 2021.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hansotia has been known for being a bold visionary, setting ambitious goals, and delivering results for key stakeholders. Prior to being named Chairman, President & CEO, he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, he oversaw the company’s regional commercial operations as well as its global product management, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain functions. Mr. Hansotia has a passion for advancing the future of agriculture and serving farmers. He led AGCO’s push into smart farming solutions in his original AGCO role of Senior Vice President, Global Crop Cycle and Fuse Connected Services.
Mr. Hansotia also serves on the Board of The Toro Company. He is a member of The Business Council and the North American Agriculture Advisory Board (Rabobank).
Prior to joining AGCO in 2013, Mr. Hansotia had a successful career working for Deere & Company, where he served in a number of leadership roles throughout his 20-year tenure. His career there included global roles leading harvesting and crop care. He spent part of his tenure based in Mannheim, Germany. Mr. Hansotia has extensive experience in the agriculture industry in the areas of engineering, quality, advanced technology, manufacturing, product management, and global business leadership.
Mr. Hansotia graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He also earned an MBA from the University of Iowa.
Mr. Hansotia lives in the greater Atlanta (Georgia, U.S.) area with his wife and two children.
Damon Audia is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AGCO Corporation. He is responsible for ensuring AGCO is well-positioned to achieve its Farmer-First strategy, delivering significant value to all stakeholders and achieving our growth ambitions.
Prior to joining AGCO, Mr. Audia served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Kennametal, Inc. and Carpenter Technology Corporation, consecutively. He also spent ten years in various leadership roles at The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, including serving as Senior Vice President of Finance for the company's North America division. In addition, Mr. Audia held various financial positions at Delphi Corporation and General Motors.
Mr. Audia received a Master of Business Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree in general studies from the University of Michigan.
Seth H. Crawford is Senior Vice President and General Manager, PTx – AGCO’s leading brand representing the company’s full precision ag portfolio. He provides leadership and direction for Precision Planting, PTx Trimble, One Digital Customer Experience, Electronics Functional Group, Data Platforms and AGCO Ventures. PTx Trimble is AGCO’s newest joint venture (closed in 2024) that is an industry-leader in mixed-fleet, smart farming and autonomy solutions serving farmers globally. Mr. Crawford leads the strategic business direction for the development of innovative business models, product roadmaps, customer experience and solutions integration globally across brands and product lines. He is based in Duluth, Georgia, U.S.
Prior to joining AGCO in 2019, Mr. Crawford held several senior roles in the areas of marketing and customer support during his 22-year tenure at Deere & Company. His career at Deere culminated in his appointment as Director, Global Customer and Product Support for the Agriculture & Turf Division. In that capacity, he drove the delivery of a distinctive global customer experience and directed customer and product support strategy and operations for over 50 product lines globally and the various enterprise shared services that supported the function, including aftermarket digitalization efforts.
Mr. Crawford graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Science in Agribusiness.
Cory Buchs is the Director of Product Development for PTx Digital Farming Solutions - PTx's portfolio of offboard, farmer facing digital farm management offerings. Mr. Buchs and the DFS organization are responsible for the PTx Data Platform strategic vision and execution. Under Mr. Buchs' leadership, AGCO's rich portfolio of farm and equipment management solutions, including AGCO Connect, FendtOne, NEXT Farming and PTx Trimble Ag Software, will be brought together into a common platform. The PTx Data Platform will become the preferred farm operations management platform for the mixed fleet farm, and will be offered through both the PTx retrofit channels and AGCO wholegoods brands.
Mr. Buchs joined PTx through the PTx Trimble joint venture, where he served in a product leadership role for both onboard and offboard software solutions. Throughout his more than 13 years working in the agriculture technology space, he has held many product and engineering leadership roles leading teams in the development of innovative technologies in the domains of machine guidance, application control, ISO-BUS and farm management solutions. He has taken digital products to market in all major global agriculture markets, through both the Trimble Ag retrofit channel, as well as the Mueller OEM business.
As an active member of a corn and soybean farm in northeastern Indiana, USA, Mr. Buchs enjoys seeing the technologies his teams develop applied to real production agriculture operations. He leverages his Bachelors of Science, Civil Engineering degree from Purdue University, coupled with his first hand agriculture domain experience to create technical solutions for the greatest challenges on the farm.
